Content: Our research depends on people participating in scientific studies, which allows us to gain new insights into human experience and behavior. To do this, we need motivated volunteers to take part in our studies. Participating not only offers you insights into empirical research and our research priorities, but can also help you find suitable projects and thesis topics. As part of the new teaching concept for participant hours, you can have 10 participant hours credited as two credit points (LP). No additional examination is required. To provide you and us with a constantly updated overview of available studies, open participation periods, and the participant hours you have already accumulated, we use the SONA system (https://kit.sona-systems.com/main.aspx). Subject participant hours are awarded exclusively through this system. There are no general participation requirements, and subject participant hours can be accumulated throughout the entire duration of your studies. You do not have to complete them within a single semester. How to Use SONA: https://kit.sona-systems.com/1. Create an account 2. Log in, register for studies, actually participate, and (accumulate participant hours) 3. Once you have 10 participant hours, send credentials via email with your student ID number to analexandra.nick@kit.edu (sona@ifab.kit.edu)
