Our research thrives on the participation of people in scientific studies, allowing us to gain new insights into human experience and behavior. For this, we need motivated volunteers to take part in our studies. Participation not only provides you with insights into empirical work and our research focus but can also help you in finding suitable projects and thesis topics.

As part of the new teaching concept for participant hours, you can have 10 participant hours credited as two ECTS points. No additional examination is required.

To provide both you and us with an up-to-date overview of available studies, open participation periods, and the participant hours you have already collected, we use the SONA system (https://kit.sona-systems.com/main.aspx). Participant hours are exclusively managed through this system.

There are no general participation requirements, and participant hours can be collected throughout the entire duration of your studies. You do not need to complete them within a single semester.
